Dr. Shieh is one of the founding members of Modern Concepts Medical Group and
has been providing care for the Los Angeles community for the past 8 years. His
personal and caring approach to his patients earned him the distinction of
“Best Doctors” by the Los Angeles Downtown News in 2002. Dr. Shieh’s focus is
on the enhancement of his patients’ health and wellness in order to prevent
disease and illness. Dr. Shieh was one of the first doctors in Los Angeles to
perform “Lipo-Dissolve” mesotherapy to melt away fat, and one of the very first
to perform the Fotofacial RF skin rejuvenation treatment. As a leading doctor
in this field, he has also become an FDA investigator for upcoming new
treatments such as the VelaSmooth, a radiofrequency and infrared device for
cellulite and fat reduction.

Ms Bustamante is one of the co-founding members of Modern Concepts Medical

As a family practitioner, she believes the first step in providing excellent

patients. Ms Bustamante has extensive experience in women's health, emergency
medicine and ophthalmology. She is also the Medical Director for Walk With
Sally, a non-profit organization that provides mentoring support programs to
children of parents with cancer-one child at a time, one heart at a time.

preparing student nurse practitioners in the practice of medicine. She is
